About the Role:
As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing and growing key relationships with major retail partners, including Bunnings, as well as a portfolio of independent retailers. Your focus will be on driving sales, increasing market share, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop strong relationships with key accounts, including Bunnings and independent retailers.
- Achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
- Conduct regular store visits and training sessions.
- Manage promotional activities and merchandising.
- Accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Proven track record in key account management, preferably within hardware, FMCG or building materials industry.
- Strong understanding of the retail landscape, particularly big box retail.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and with a strong work ethic.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Base salary of $90,000 - $110,000 + Super (Depending on experience).
- 20% commission/bonus.
