SMAART Recruitment is partnering with a highly respected and innovative woodcare company to find a driven and experienced Key Account Manager to join their team in Metro Sydney.

About the Role:

As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing and growing key relationships with major retail partners, including Bunnings, as well as a portfolio of independent retailers. Your focus will be on driving sales, increasing market share, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop strong relationships with key accounts, including Bunnings and independent retailers.
  • Achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
  • Conduct regular store visits and training sessions.
  • Manage promotional activities and merchandising.
  • Accurate forecasting and reporting.
About You:
  • Proven track record in key account management, preferably within hardware, FMCG or building materials industry.
  • Strong understanding of the retail landscape, particularly big box retail.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.     
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and with a strong work ethic.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
About The Role:
  • Base salary of $90,000 - $110,000 + Super (Depending on experience).
  • 20% commission/bonus.
