Also within contact centres there are many career paths, from being promoted from Agent to Team Leader to Senior Management, and moving to different departments within the organisation.
The contact centre roles we recruit for vary, sometimes candidates need no prior experience, other roles might need six months to a year in a contact centre position. Details of experience required should be in the advertisement or just ask the Recruiter what the client's expectations are.

SMAART Recruitment’s Contact Centre Future Leaders Mentoring Program provides those who are moving into a leadership role with an opportunity to learn from peers within the industry to develop leadership, communication and decision making, amongst other skills. The program will be run in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane.
Mentors and Mentees are matched together based on their goals, objectives and professional background, who then meet on a regular basis over the year to discuss & plan how to actualise these goals.
The 2023 program paired 60 Contact Centre Managers & Heads Of Contact Centres with Team Leaders in a 12 month professionally run program across four states.
